Family Background
Louisiana Monument Company is owned and operated by Joel Rhodes, a life-long resident of Union Parish. Joel’s experience with monuments dates back to the early ‘70’s when he worked in his dad’s monument business, setting stones. He and his wife, Renee, have three sons and reside near Farmerville. The Rhodes family enjoys worshiping with their church family, going to bluegrass festivals, and being together as a family. Their sons, Ben, Daniel, and Will are part of the Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band and play the fiddle, mandolin and bass guitar.
